الرئيس حافظ الأسد يكرم المصورين الضوئيين
بعيداً عن السياسة وهمومها ورغبة منه في تشجيع التصوير الفوتوغرافي وإعطائه طابعه المهم والمتميز ، قام السيد الرئيس حافظ الأسد بمبادرة هي الأولى من نوعها عربياً ، بل وحتى عالميا بحدود نسبية ، هذه المبادرة تتمثل بتقديم وسام الاستحقاق السوري من الدرجة الثالثة للفنان الفوتوغرافي الدكتور مروان مسلماني حيث
قامت الدكتورة نجاح العطار وزيرة الثقافة والارشاد القومي بتقليده الوسام في حفل تكريمي
خاص جرى في قاعة المتحف الوطني ، بحضور حشد كبير من المدعوين الرسميين وغير الرسميين من المهتمين بالتصوير الفوتوغرافي .
كما حضر الحفل الدكتور عفيف بهنسي مدير عام الآثار .
وفي كلمة القتها وزيرة الثقافة الدكتورة نجاح العطار قالت حول الاسباب الموجبة لمنح الدكتور مروان مسلماني هذا الوسام :
ـ لقد أمضى الدكتور مسلماني حياته في خدمة التراث والفن ، فقام بمسح شامل للآثار والمعالم الفنية ، حيث جمعها كلها في صور فوتوغرافية اعتبرت مرجعاً للعاملين والدارسين في مجالات التراث والعمارة والفن وتابعت الدكتورة نجاح العطار بقولها :
- ان مروان مسلماني هو أول الذين جعلوا من التصوير الضوئي فنا في سوريا ، حيث ساهم مساهمة فعالة في الحفاظ على التراث من خلال المعارض التي أقامها ، وعددها ستة وعشرين معرضاً حازت على الصدى الواسع في الأوساط العلمية المحلية والعالمية ومما قالته الدكتورة العطار عن الفنان مروان مسلماني أيضاً .
ـ لقد استمر عمله طوعياً ، وبعيداً عن المنفعة الذاتية ، وهو لا يزال يتابع رسالته وتقديراً لجهوده رأينا مكافاته معنوياً بمنحه هذا الوسام ..
وسام الاستحقاق السوري من الدرجة الثالثة ، أقدمه له نيابة عن الرئيس حافظ الاسد .
مجلة فن التصوير التي تهنىء الزميل الدكتور مسلماني بدورها . تعتبر أن هذا الوسام هو ملك لكل فنان ضوئي وهي تشعر بالفخر وبالاعتزاز لهذه الخطوة التقديرية من سيادة الرئيس على أمل أن ينظر المسؤولون في العالم العربي نظرة مماثلة للمساهمة في تطوير هذا الفن و إعطائه القدر الكافي من الاهتمام .
President Hafez al-Assad honors photographers
Away from politics and its concerns, and his desire to encourage photography and give it its important and distinguished character, President Hafez Al-Assad undertook an initiative that is the first of its kind in the Arab world, and even globally with relative limits.
Dr. Najah Al-Attar, Minister of Culture and National Guidance, awarded him the Medal in an honoring ceremony
A special event took place in the hall of the National Museum, in the presence of a large crowd of official and unofficial invitees interested in photography.
The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Afif Bahnasi, Director General of Antiquities.
In a speech delivered by the Minister of Culture, Dr. Najah Al-Attar, she said about the reasons for granting Dr. Marwan Maslamani this medal:
Dr. Maslamani spent his life in the service of heritage and art, so he carried out a comprehensive survey of antiquities and artistic monuments, where he collected them all in photographs that were considered a reference for workers and scholars in the fields of heritage, architecture and art. Dr. Najah Al-Attar continued by saying:
- Marwan Maslamani was the first to make photography an art in Syria, where he made an effective contribution to preserving the heritage through the twenty-six exhibitions he held that won wide resonance in the local and international scientific circles. What Dr. Al-Attar said about the artist Marwan Maslamani also .
His work continued voluntarily, far from self-interest, and he is still pursuing his message. In appreciation of his efforts, we saw his moral rewards by awarding him this medal.
The Syrian Order of Merit of the third degree, I present it to him on behalf of President Hafez Al-Assad.
The Art of Photography magazine, which congratulates colleague Dr. Maslamani, in turn. She considers that this medal is the property of every photo artist, and she feels proud of this appreciation step from the President, hoping that officials in the Arab world will consider a similar view to contribute to the development of this art and give it enough attention.
