أكرم نجار وعروض الأفاعي في الخليج
اكرم نجار مهندس مدني كويتي عمره 31 سنة ، يعد خارج الهند - موطن ممارسة السحر الهندي واللعب التقليدي بالافاعي - أحد الخبراء القلائل في فن عرض الثعابين والأفاعي في العالم وهو يحمل ثعباناً أو افعى تتلوى بسلاسة بين يديه فيها من السم ما يكفي لقتل شرذمة من الجنود . بينما يشعر أكرم بارتياح تام خلال عمله هذا ، لكنه لاقى في المنامة - البحرين - صعوبة في إجتذاب عدد كاف من المشاهدين إلى معرضه حتى ان أحد المدراء العرب لم يسمح له بإجراء عرض مستقل .
يروي اكرم قصته عندما كان كشافاً مخيما في احد معسكرات الكشافة في الكويت ، حين ظهرت امامه افعتان ، قتل واحدة منهما وهربت الثانية لتعود في الليل وتستفرده من بين جميع رفاقه ولسعه .. إنتقاماً منذ ذلك الوقت - يقول أكرم ـ إمتزج خوفه من الأفاعي بالذهول والدهشة
لقدرتها على التعرف عليه بين جميع أعضاء الفريق الذين كان برفقتهم في المخيم .

قام اكرم بجولة في دول الخليج العربي دامت ثمانية أشهر إبتدأت في الكويت لينتقل بعدها إلى الشارقة وابو ظبي ومؤخرا إلى المنامة بالبحرين ومن هناك إعتزم الانتقال إلى المملكة العربية السعودية ومن بعدها إلى قطر تلقی اکرم دعوات من إيطاليا وبريطانيا والمانيا وفرنسا لعرض ، حفلات ، لثعابينه وافاعيه .
ويفاخر أكرم أنه لم يتعرض لأي حادث أثناء قيامه بعرض ثعابينه وأفاعيه حتى الآن .
