LARGE MIRROR IS AN AID
An aid to both photographer and model is the use of a mirror , a large one preferably on casters so that it can be moved around easily . The mir ror can be moved around so that the model can see approximately the same angle that you will be getting with your camera . She can then observe whether or not her body looks its best , whether her hair is in place and not marred by wisps that stand out against the background . A good model is as interested in looking good in pictures as you are in getting salable results . With the mirror she will be able to quickly determine and take the best poses and she can spot any other flaws before the shutter is tripped .
FENCE suggested the pose at left as did the edge of the pool on which model , at right , is supporting herself . Umbrella and sky background contribute to charm of photo on the following page .
