I couldn't think of a better place to capture the "Snow Moon" rising than from the rim of Crater Lake. It wasn't neccesarily the image I had hoped for as the winds were wicked strong. There would be no reflection or long exposures on this night, but having the entire park to myself and watching the moon crest over the rim of the crater was a spiritual moment I will not soon forget.
لم أستطع التفكير في مكان أفضل لالتقاط "قمر الثلج" وهو يرتفع من حافة بحيرة كريتر. لم تكن الصورة التي تمنيتها بالضرورة لأن الرياح كانت قوية. لن يكون هناك انعكاس أو تعرضات طويلة في هذه الليلة، ولكن وجود الحديقة بأكملها لنفسي ومشاهدة قمة القمر فوق حافة الفوهة كانت لحظة روحية لن أنساها قريبًا.
