Slide storage systems It is important to have a system of classification for either by your slides name , occupation , or subject . The choice of filing method will depend on the extent of your collection . If it is very large , a filing cabinet with slides in labeled - transparent sheets suspended on metal bars may be best . With a smaller collection ring folders with each sheet of slides restricted to a single subject are usually better .
