“Beautiful Faces ~ Eagles & Owls”

Mike loved taking photos of the majestic eagle, along with other birds of the Northwoods. He got some awesome eagle photos, but most were taken at such a great distance that even with the long lens, cropping in on the faces doesn’t always produce the sharpest image. These were some of his favorites though.
He never had the opportunity to get a good owl photo in the woods. The owls shown here, a long-eared owl, saw whet owl, and great horned owl, he photographed at raptor shows in the Porkies and in our area. I couldn’t resist the faces.
