Madame Widad Nassif est l'une des dix personnes qui n'ont pas quitté Qnaytra durant l'occupation israélienne . Voici son témoignage au sujet de la destruction de la ville par les forces d'occupation : Les Israéliens avaient environ 11 bulldozers dans la ville , mais ils ont dû faire amener des renforts pour achever leur täche . Les plus pe tites des maisons s'effondraient au premier coup : pour les immeubles de 2 à 4 étages , ils devaient construire des rampes en terre pour per mettre aux bulldozers d'atteindre les étages supérieurs . Ils ont travaille pendant plusieurs jours avec une détermination farouche et une grande habileté » ..
السيدة وداد ناصيف هي احدى عشرة اشخاص لم يغادروا القنيطرة اثناء الاحتلال الاسرائيلي وهذه هي شهادتها بشأن تدمير المدينة من قبل قوات الاحتلال E وكان يوجد في المدينة حوالي 11 جرافة ، ولكنهم استدعوا تعزيزات أخرى لانهاء مهمتهم . كانت المنازل الصغيرة تقع لدى الضرية الأولى ، اما المنازل الكبيرة المؤلفة من طابقين واكثر فكانوا يبنون مدارج للجرافات حتى تستطيع الوصول إلى الصوابق العلوية ، لقد دام عملهم هذا الجاد والنشيط عدة ايام
Mrs Widad Nassif is one of ten persons who did not leave Qnaytra during the Israeli occupation . Following is her testimony on the subject of the destruction of the town by the forces of occupation : € The Israelis had about 11 bulldozers in the town but they brought reinforcement to achieve their goal . The smallest of the houses collapsed after the first hit . With respect to buildings consisting of four storeys , they had to construct earth ramps to enable the bulldozers to reach the higher storeys . They worked for several days with strong determination and great skill . >
