تحديد التعريض مع استعمال المصابيح الومضية
لا توجد طريقة تمكن المصور من قياس الضوء المنعكس من المصباح الومضي بواسطة مقياس الضـوء ، ويتعين عليه الاستعانة بجداول التعريض أو الحاسبات ، لذلك يعطي صانعو المصابيح جداول التعريض معها .
هذه الجداول تأخذ في حسابها سرعة الفيلم ، وبعـد الموضوع عن المصباح وسرعة الغلق ، وتمكن من تحديد التعريض المناسب .
وجدول الأرقام يعطي رقم التعريض لكل مصباح لأي وضع من سرعة الفيلم وسرعة الغلق ، ويبقى عليك فقط تحديد فتحة العدسة ، وهذه تحصل عليها بقسمة الرقم على المسافة بالأقدام الموضوع والمصباح .
مثلا إذا كنت تستعمل مصباح M5 وتريد أن تعرض بسرعة ١/١٠٠ من الثانية مستعملا فيلم بحساسية ١٢٥ AZA ، ابحث في العمود الأول عن M5 ثم عن سرعة الغلق ١/١٠٠ واتبع الخط
حتى حساسية ١٢٥ AZA ، الرقم هنا هو ٢٦٠ . إقسم هذا الرقم بالمسافة بين موضـوعك والمصبـاح بالأقدام تحصل على فتحة العدسة المطلوبة .
مثلاً يبعد ١٢ قدماً تحصل على : ٢٦٠ ÷ ۱۲ = ٢١،٨ أو ٢٢ / f .
عندما تريد تغيير التعريض من صورة لأخرى ، من الأفضل تغيير فتحة العدسة بدلاً من تغيير سرعة الغلق . كما أن الأرقام التي تعطيها الجداول هي أرقام متوسطة لاستعمال متوسط ، وقد لا تناسب تماماً أجهزتك أو الظروف الخاصة . لذلك إذا لاحظت أن الصورة المأخوذة بالفلاش قليلة التعريض استعمل فتحة عدسة أكبر بنصف درجة ، أو خذ رقماً أصغر مما يعطيه الجدول . وبالعكس إذا لاحظت أن صورك زائدة التعريض استعمل رقماً أكبر ، أو فتحة أصغر بنصف درجة . كما تؤثر الظروف المحيطة في دقة أرقام الجداول . فالصورة المأخوذة في غرفة صغيرة وسقف منخفض ، حيث كمية كبيرة من الضوء تنعكس على الجدران والسقوف وتزيد من الإضاءة العامة ، في هذه الظروف يجب تصغير فتحة العدسة درجـة كاملة لتلافي التعريض الزائد . كما تؤثر طبيعة الموضوع على دقة أرقام الجدول . فالموضوع الداكن جدا يحتاج إلى قيمة أكبر مما تعطيه الجداول ، وكذلك الموضوع الشديد السطوع يحتاج إلى فتحة عدسة أصغر مما تشير به الجداول .
Determine the exposure with the use of flashlights
There is no way for the photographer to measure the light reflected from the flashlight by means of a photometer, and he must use exposure tables or calculators, so lamp makers give exposure tables with them.
These tables take into account the speed of the film, the distance of the subject from the lamp and the shutter speed, and make it possible to determine the appropriate exposure.
The table of numbers gives the exposure number for each lamp for any mode of film speed and shutter speed, and you only have to specify the lens aperture, and this you get by dividing the number by the distance in feet of the subject and the lamp.
For example, if you are using an M5 lamp and want to project at 1/100th of a second using film at 125 AZA, look in the first column for M5, then for 1/100th shutter speed, and follow the line.
Up to a sensitivity of 125 AZA, the number here is 260. Divide this number by the distance between your subject and the lamp in feet, to get the required aperture.
For example, 12 feet away, you get: 260 ÷ 12 = 21.8, or 22 / f.
When you want to change the exposure from one photo to another, it's better to change the aperture than to change the shutter speed. Also, the numbers given by the tables are average numbers for average use, and may not fully fit your equipment or special circumstances. Therefore, if you notice that the image taken with the flash is underexposed, use an aperture that is half a degree larger, or take a smaller number than what the table gives. Conversely, if you notice that your photos are overexposed, use a larger number, or an aperture half a degree smaller. Surrounding conditions also affect the accuracy of table numbers. The picture taken in a small room with a low ceiling, where a large amount of light is reflected on the walls and ceilings and increases the general lighting. The nature of the topic also affects the accuracy of the table numbers. A very dark subject needs a value greater than what the tables give, and a very bright subject needs a smaller aperture than the tables indicate.
