The Wildside Nature Tours Belize: Birds & Monkeys Photo Safari was a blast with some incredible birds such as Boat-billed Herons, Agami Herons, Jabiru, and so many more. However, I was anxious to use my new M.Zuiko 90mm F3.5 MACRO IS PRO lens and the AK Diffuser with the OM System FL-700WR flash.
Below are three images I captured with this combination. Overall, I couldn't be happier! There were several times I had to move back slightly as I was accustomed to the working distance of the M.Zuiko 60mm F2.8 MACRO. The extra working distance is outstanding.
My love for macro has grown so much ever since John Abbott, Kendra Abbott, and Chuck Sexton had me join them at a black light experience in Big Bend. The challenge of capturing the incredible beauty of tiny organisms and sharing them with folks, many which will never get a chance to see these in person, drives me on every walk through a habitat.
