We overcame the taboos and embarked with this large number of our readers on a journey that began with a step, and soon turned into successive leaps, in which we saw a significant number of those who got acquainted with the camera with its birth, the art of photography, or with their acquaintance with one of its preparations, by chance or after Research and exploration... These soon turned into a supportive part of our career. We derive our solidity from their development, from their questions, from their obsession with achieving a successful artistic image that allows them to obtain membership in the amateur club or bypass it in the future, God willing, to display their work in private and public fields. We derive its truth from our success in consolidating the relationship with the membership card number "one hundred", in the Amateur Club.. In the beginning, the art of photography was an idea in the mind of every photographer. Everyone needed a magazine. He used to think. The view was clear, but the minimum was agreed upon.. Dozens of years, the camera takes pictures and the photographer takes pictures.. Pictures are published.. Tens of years of our photographic life in the Lebanese press, and silence surrounds our mouths.. And our pens alone are a picture that expresses.. And expression alone is not enough to keep pace with development We have to issue a magazine, and only the magazine is the gateway to the context of evolution, and only the diving ship for the sea of ​​pictorial science to discover it..

The art of photography was the demand. Everyone was convinced and agreed. The art of photography is our word.
The art of photography is the way to the world of cameras and photography. It is the first step towards establishing the only specialized school in Lebanon and the Arab world.
The axis was that the Arabic language should be the language of written discourse directed towards the expected crowd of amateur and even professional students, seekers of knowledge .. knowledge of the image and the vast, mysterious world of photography, which is always evolving. The attempt was difficult.. rather very difficult. I will not mention the names of the adventurers who led the attempt.. and laid the foundation stone. They drew the maquette, the doors of the magazine and put its line and size..

They left work in their newspapers, offering to serve the art of photography... One of them gave his life, another sold his car, and some sold some of his archives. They played the game of al-sold, and they entered it.. Unidentified soldiers carried the offices on their shoulders and climbed eight floors in light of the power outage. . They spread the floor and - smashed - the walls of the school... They didn't get tired, they didn't calm down. ..
In issue zero, experience in the first issues, sleep was the only absentee, hands on hearts.. The experience was not easy.. Building a school is not a journey.. And the camera is not a calendar that ends at the end of the year.. Rather, it is the long journey.. The art of photography.. It is The great challenge, the biggest of us, despite this, we embarked on it... towards building the first photography school.. adventurers.. unknown soldiers... They thought of everything and did not lose sight of anything.
The art of photography, our goal is towards eradicating illiteracy.. Photography illiteracy and erasing the psychological difference between people and the camera, is the aspiration.. It is the solid ground towards raising the level of photography and an indication of the need for the camera to be in every home and for every person.
The art of photography - the school. Subscribing to it is the tuition and reading it is attendance. Contributing to its success is understanding the lesson and being fully aware of the developments.
A final word is necessary as we are on the threshold of the third year. The art of photography is not the monopoly of anyone, and it is not owned by anyone.. It is the property of readers and amateurs.. This property, from the beginning, we decided to donate it with our effort.. and our tiredness to the aspirants of knowledge .
