سور الصين العظيم هو الآخر يحتاج إلى ترميم !
لا عجب أن يعتبر سور الصين العظيم إحدى عجائب العالم السبع ، إذ إن مجرد الوقوف بجانبه يعطيك الانطباع بالعظمة وبالضخامة والرهبة . هذا السور الضخم ككل المنشآت التي مرت عليها آزمان وعصور ، رغم عظمته مهدد بالتآكل والانهيارات المحدودة شانه بذلك شان غيره من العجائب السبع .
وعلى رأسها « الاهرامات ، في مصر ، ولأن الصين تعتبر سورها هذا من أهم الآثار الحضارية التي ينبغي الحفاظ عليها فقد باشرت باعمال الترميم قبل أن يستمر التآكل ويهدد هذا الأثر العظيم بالزوال ، خصوصاً وأن الفلاحين والمواطنين عموماً ممن كانوا يفتقدون إلى حجارة البناء
لجاوا مرارا إلى الحجار التي تقع من السور ونقلوها إلى بعض مواد البناء الأخرى إلى أراضيهم لاستعمالها في أبنيتهم الخاصة .
مؤخرا كلف عدد هائل من العمال بترميم السور وباعمال التصليحات الضرورية خصوصاً في منطقة بادالينغ - شمال بكين - حيث أغلق هذا الموقع بوجه السياح بانتظار الانتهاء من إصلاحه حيث جرى لاحقاً افتتاحه مـع العيد الوطني للصين في مطلع شهر تشرين الأول « اکتوبر » .
نذكر أخيراً أن سور الصين هو عبارة عن عدة جدران ضخمة موصولة بعضها ببعض ، وقد شيدت منذ مئات السنين كحصن دفاعي لصد الاعتداءات عن الصين بوجه قبائل كانت مناوئة للحكم .

The Great Wall of China is also in need of restoration!
It is no wonder that the Great Wall of China is considered one of the seven wonders of the world, as just standing next to it gives you the impression of greatness, enormity and awe. This huge wall, like all the facilities that have passed through times and ages, despite its greatness, is threatened with erosion and limited collapses, as is the case with other seven wonders.
On top of them are the pyramids in Egypt, and because China considers this wall one of the most important cultural monuments that should be preserved, it has begun restoration work before erosion continues and this great monument threatens to disappear, especially since the peasants and citizens in general were lacking building stones.
They repeatedly resorted to the stones that fell from the wall and transferred them to some other building materials to their lands for use in their private buildings.
Recently, a large number of workers were assigned to restore the wall and carry out the necessary repairs, especially in the Badaling area - north of Beijing - where this site was closed to tourists pending the completion of its repair, as it was later opened with the Chinese National Day at the beginning of the month of October «October».
Finally, we mention that the Wall of China is made up of several huge walls connected to each other, and it was built hundreds of years ago as a defensive fortress to repel attacks from China in the face of tribes that were hostile to the rule.
