سلسلة جديدة من ملحقات الفيديو الاختصاصية اعلنت . أوليمبوس ، عن إنزالها باسم وود بيري ، . واول انتاج منها سيكون - الوود بيري فيديو لايت » على نوعين ( AC ) للتيار المنزلي العادي و ( DC ) بطاريات .
وهذا الانتاج الجديد يعتبر إنتاجاً متطوراً ونموذجيا لجيل اليوم من مستعملي كاميرات الفيديو الملونة .
اما عن استعمال اسم Bury Wod بدلا من اسم ( Olympus ) لهذه السلسلة من الإنتاجات
فيقول نيكولاس رابايكي ، احد مسؤولي الشركة ، إن ذلك يعود لكون السلسلة لن تقتصر على كاميرات فيديو ، اوليمبوس . . جل ستكون مجهزة للعمل في العديد من كاميرات الفيديو المتوفرة نوعيات ( Beta ) و ( VHS نشير هنا إلى أن وزن - الفيديو لايت - المكتنز لا يتعدى ثمانية اونصات - ٢٥٠ غراماً - وطراز AC ) نموذج ۱۲۰ ( ANSI - AC Code FNG - مجهز بمصباح کوارتز ۱۲۰ فولت ، 150 واط - يعمل لمدة خمسين ساعة - وبسلك طوله اثنتي عشر قدماً .
