إستعملت لأول مرة - وبحكم التجربة - في دورة الألعاب الأولمبية بلوس انجلس مؤخراً وهذه الكاميرا قادرة على التقاط الصور وتحميضها وبنها إلى مكاتب الصحيفة عبر الذبذبات الكهربائية المستمدة عبر طاقة البطاريات الملحقة خلال ثلاثين دقيقة .
الفيلم في كاميرا - الفيديو هذه هو عبارة عن اسطوانة مصغرة ( Disk ) وخاصة بهذا النوع من الكاميرات ، التي سيقتصر استعمالها على الصحافيين المكلفين بمراسلة صحفهم ، فوتوغرافيا . عبر المناطق النائية .. او لتامين سرعة الاتصال في مناطق لا تحتوي على تجهيزات خاصة لارسال الصور بالراديو .
