I really enjoyed painting these black swans as a commission. Black swans are native to Australia, and are monogamous, just like the mute swans we commonly see here in the UK. Black swans are more loyal though; they have a 6% divorce rate, as opposed to a 10% divorce rate in mute swans. Did you even know swans could get divorced?! I hope this pair stayed together - there's a 94% chance they did ?
