لبنان يا لبنان
ركام على الأرض
ركام في النفوس
الظلمة مرعبة والنور فاضح .
رصاصة تقتل السكون
آثارها تمتد نحو الأفق
تخترق الفضاء ، تشعل كل الأمال
ونحن ...
نحن نتفقد بين الصاروخ والصاروخ ما عفت عنه أدوات التدمير
اولادنا ... على الأرض ينامون

على الأرض يلعبون
لعبتهم لم تعد - الغميضة -
او غيرها من العاب الصغار
لعبتهم صارت حرباً بحرب
لبنان يا لبنان
أمام أعيننا ، تتعانق الطيور
ونحن لهول ما نرى نقول
تتقاتل الطيور ...
قد غابت من قاموسنا كلمة العناق .
لبنان يا لبنان إلى متى ستبقى ركاماً على الأرض وركاماً في النفوس ؟؟

Rubble on the ground
Rubble in the soul
The darkness is terrifying and the light is scandalous.
A bullet kills stillness
Its traces extend towards the horizon
Piercing through space, igniting all hopes
And we...
We are checking between the missile and the missile what the destruction tools have pardoned
Our boys... on the floor they sleep

On the floor they play
Their game is no more - Hide and seek -
Or other children's games
Their game has become war with war
Lebanon, oh Lebanon
Before our eyes, the birds are embracing
We are in awe of what we see
Birds fighting...
The word hug has been absent from our dictionary.
Lebanon, O Lebanon, how long will you remain rubble on the ground and rubble in the souls??
