ريمون دو باردون هو المصور الذي اعتمده الرئيس الفرنسي فرنسوا ميتـران ليلاحق تحـركـاتـه وحركاته . . رسمياً منذ 1980 يقول دو باردون : « جاءني الرئيس الاستديو في باريس طالباً مني صوراً جميلة تنافس جمال صور الرئيس السابق ديستان التي التقطتها له في 1974 . الرئيس يريد « بورتريه » رسمية جداً جلس الرئيس في المكان الذي اعددته واثناء التصوير سمعنا صرخة مدوية خارج الاستوديو وعلمت ان زوجة حارس البناية سقطت من السلم الى الأرض فصرخت بأعلى صوتها . اربكني الحادث ، وأزعجني الصراخ . كنت اعرف مسبقاً ان التجربة ستبؤ بالفشل لان الرئيس بريد صورة اكاديمية . كنت ارغب في تصوير الرئيس اكثر من صورة لكن الرئيس يريد صورة واحدة ، رسمية جدا فسقط الفن في الروتين . في كل حال الرئيس ميتران رجل جذاب واللقاء معه جميل . لو كان بامكاني اعادة التصوير مرة أو مرتين لتغير الأمر وكنت استعملت عدسة 50 ملم لتكون صورة الرئيس افضل » .

Raymond de Bardon is the photographer adopted by French President Francois Mitterrand to follow his movements and movements. .
