The majority of Populus euphratica lives in China and 90% of them are around the Talimu River Basin in Xinjiang. This image was taken in an area called "Graveyard of Populus euphratica" near Tarim Populus euphratica Forest Park, with full of death trees standing still. The tales of Uygur said that Populus euphratica has a life span of 3000 years, i.e. “live for 1000 years; stand for 1000 years after death; remain without rotting for 1000 years after falling”
شعبية الففراتيكا هي واحدة من عدد قليل جدا من الاشجار التي يمكنها العيش في الصحراء نظرا لحيويتها القوية. تعيش غالبية شعبية افراتيكا في الصين و 90 % منهم حول حوض نهر تاليمو في شينجيانغ. التقطت هذه الصورة في منطقة تسمى ′′ مقبرة شعبية ′′ بالقرب من حديقة تريم بوبولس اوفراتيكا، مع وجود اشجار الموت لا تزال قائمة. حكايات اويجور قالت ان شعبية افراتكا لها عمرها 3000 سنة، اي ′′ تعيش ل 1000 سنة ؛ وتقف ل 1000 سنة بعد الموت ؛ وتبقى دون تعفن لمدة 1000 سنة بعد السقوط ′′
