ومن الأدلة التي جاء بها الفلاسفة لإثبات حرية الانسان سن الشرائع ، ووضع الأنظمة الاجتماعية . لأن الحياة الاجتماعية تستلزم الحرية الأخلاقية ، ولأن العقود والوعود والعهود تقتضي أن يكون الانسان مخيراً في أعماله لا مسيراً . ومن هذه الأدلة تأثير الرجال العظام في تسيير دفة التاريخ ، وتوجيه الوقائع ، وتحديد مصير الشعوب . ومنها العدل الاجتماعي وما يلزم عنه من العقوبات ، فكل ذلك يقتضي أن يكون الانسان حراً ، ومسؤولاً عن أفعاله .
المناقشة .
- ان هذه الأمثلة تصلح لإثبات الحتمية ، كما تصلح لإثبات الحرية . لأنه لا معنى للعقود إلا إذا تقيد أصحابها بها . ولا معنى للوعود والعهود إلا إذا عقدنا العزم على تنفيذها ، فهي تدل إذن على تقيد الانسان بالدوافع ، والبواعث التي اختارها ، وكذلك تأثير الرجال العظام في تسيير دفة التاريخ ، فهو لا يدل على أنهم أحرار يستطيعون أن يفعلوا ما يشاؤون ؛ بل يدل على أن تأثير هم مقيد بطبيعة العمران ، وحالة المجتمع . ان إراداتهم تابعة لعوامل التطور الاجتماعي ، ونجاحهم في أفعالهم رهن باستعداد الشعوب لقبول إصلاحاتهم .
