يعد من رواد عمارة ما بعد الحداثة فهو يميل إلى إخضاع الشكر للتمائـل الشديد كما أنه يتميز بالجرأة وقوة الفكرة والتشكيل الهندسي البسيط والجميل

معمـاري سويسري عالمـي ولد في مندريزيو في سويسرا عـام 1943 ، وعمل رسـامـا في مكتـب معماري قبـل أن يدرس العمارة في ميلانو ثـم في فينيسيا بين عـامـي 1965 و 1969.وخـلال تلك الفترة تدرب في مكتب لوكوربوزييـه السويسري ثم في مكتب لويس كان الأمريكي . ثم افتتح مكتبه الخاص في لوجـانـو بسويسرا عام 1970. يعتبر بوتـا الذي اشتهر بتصميمه الكتدرائيـات ، حداثـي المنطلـق وقـد تـأثـر تأثرا شديدا بالمعماريين كارلو سكاربا الإيطالي ولويس كان الأمريكي ، وهـو وإن ظهر في أعمـالـه الأخيرة منطلقا من الأنماط التاريخية - خاصة منذ منتصف السبعينيـات حـين بـاتـت منازلـه أكثر
التزامـا بـالكلاسيكية في المساقط الأفقية والواجهات – فإنه ما زال ملتزما بأن تعبر العمارة عن عصرها الذي هي فيه . وفي أعمال بوتا احترام شديد للظروف الطبوغرافية والمحلية لمواقع مبانيه ، كما يظهر فيها الحرفيـة والترتيب الهندسي وهـي محاولة منه للتوفيق بين الرمزية المعمارية التقليدية والقواعـد الجمالية للحركة الحديثة . تقع معظم مبـاني بـوتـا في سويسرا ، لكنهـا تلقى اهتماما دوليـا ، خاصة فوزه بالعديد مـن المسابقـات الدولية ، لـعـل أهمها فوزه بتصميـم مبنى متحف الفن الحديث بسـان فرانسيسكو بأمريكا عام 1984 .
A Swiss international architect, born in Mendrisio, Switzerland, in 1943. He worked as a draftsman in an architectural office before studying architecture in Milan and then in Venice between 1965 and 1969. During that period, he trained in the Swiss office of Le Corbusier and then in the American office of Louis Kahn. Then he opened his own office in Lugano, Switzerland, in 1970. Botta, who is famous for his design of cathedrals, is considered a modernist in stature and was strongly influenced by the Italian architects Carlo Scarpa and Louis Kahn of the United States.
Adhering to the classicism in the horizontal plans and facades - it is still committed to the architecture expressing its era in which it is. In Bhuta's works, a strong respect for the topographical and local conditions of the sites of his buildings, as well as the craftsmanship and engineering arrangement, is an attempt by him to reconcile the traditional architectural symbolism with the aesthetic rules of the modern movement. Among his works is the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art: The museum is located across the street from FUMIHIKO MAKL.S near the new center of YARBA BUENA, whose construction style seems to be the style of a light ship, which is considered a contrast "with the brick cladding of Buta, and the design is almost without windows" with the presence of a cylinder Central circular so that it appears from the outside of the building in the form of a truncated cylinder that allows light to pass to the five floors, especially the “top with a height of seven meters, which is large, which was used to light the upper floor of the exhibitions, as it allows light to fall on the memorial lobby. 2- كتدرائية إيـفري بني هذا الصرح الديني الأكثر أهمية في فرنسا خلال أكثر من قرن حددت كندلراثية ايفري تماما " في جنوب باريس في مكان يقع تحت الإختبار . استوحي التركيب المستدير الكنيسة من أسلوب بناء الكنائس البيزنطية بارتفاع الة وقطر - 30 حيث بنيت من القرميد بعدد لا يقل عن 800 ألف حجر تولوس والمقاعد الداخلية في المستوى الأرضي تتسع لـ شخص أكثر مـن المولات التي تتسع على الأغلب من 500 شخص فقط وهذه المقاعد صنعت مـن بـوط ا وصنع الصبح مـن رخـام 7422428 الأبيـض والخط التعميـي صمما من قبل المصمم نفسه . ومن هذا كله ترى بأن كرانية بوت وظفت كمفردة معمارية في مركز المدينة من دون أن تعطي أي إحساس معين بحيث ترى بالقرب من نهاية الطريق السريع . في هذا المنظر الليلي يظهر القلب المقدس " شكل المصلى ضمن فوس عالي يقودهم إلى منصة العراقية
