لاحقتها الكاميرا قبيل الحادثة بأيام قليلة لتسجل للتاريخ هذه اللقطات النادرة والتي تبدو فيها بغاية السعادة مع عائلتها - زوجها وابنتها کارولین وابنها سكوت ـ وفي المراحل التالية وهي تتقبل التهاني باختيارها للمهمة .

Christa McAuliffe, a Challenger victim
The late astronaut Christa McAuliffe, who died inside the space shuttle Challenger.
The camera followed her a few days before the accident, to record for history these rare snapshots, in which she appears very happy with her family - her husband, daughter Caroline and son Scott - and in the following stages as she accepts congratulations for choosing the mission.
It is worth noting that Krista McAuliffe is a social studies professor at Concord High School ⏹
