نادي التصوير بالجامعة الأميركية
يساهم في « فن التصوير »
إذا كنا ننظر للتصوير كفن قائم ونطمح بالوصول إلى شمولية النظرة وتقديم كل ما يفيد من تقنيات فإن لنادي التصوير بالجامعة الاميركية في بيروت نفس هذه الرؤية لذا عزم المشرفون في النادي على تقديم باب ثابت باسم ناديهم عبر صفحات المجلة شهريا من هنا كان لنا لقاء صغير مع رئيس النادي الطالب هاني سخنيي حول الموضوع المطروح مع نبذة عن النادي في الجامعة .
يقول سخنيي :
- إن نادي التصوير هو واحد من انشط النوادي الطلابية في الجامعة الاميركية ، تأسس عام ١٩٥٩ ، وله هيئة ادارية تنتخب سنوياً من قبل
اعضائه العاملين وعددهم حالياً ٧٠ طالباً ، والمشرف الفني على النادي هو الدكتور خليل ابو فيصل وهذا النادي بالطبع محصور بطلاب الجامعة فقط والهدف من انشائه هو تعليم فن التصوير والتحميض وطباعة الاسود والأبيض والملون للذين يرغبون هذه الهواية .
و يقوم النادي بنشاطات عدة خلال السنة الدراسية اهمها المعارض الفنية و « يوم البورتريه ، والقيام بتصوير الكتاب السنوي للجامعة , كامبس ، وأحياناً تصوير الروزنامة الجامعية .. إلى ذلك نقوم بدورات في المختبر للمبتدئين أو الطلاب الجدد .
وللنادي غرفتان داخل حرم الجامعة غرفة مطالعة ، وتحتوي على المجلات والكتب الفوتوغرافية وأخرى للمختبر .
من هنا ، وعندما لمسنا مقدرة اعضاء النادي الفنية رغبنا بتقديم نتاجاتهم عبر صفحات المجلة ، علما ان مشاركتنا ستكون باسم النادي ، وشهرياً حيث يقدم النادي موضوعاً مصوراً مختارا من اعضائه .
وهذا برايي سيشكل مرحلة جديدة بمسيرة النادي ، حيث يعتبر نشر صور الاعضاء مساهمة من النادي في نمو وتطور الفن الفوتوغرافي بشكل عام وسيكون لقاؤنا معكم ضمن باب خاص وحول موضوع القديم والمنقرض⏹
Photography Club of the American University
Contributes to "Photography"
If we look at photography as an existing art, and we aspire to reach a comprehensive view and provide all that benefits from techniques, then the Photography Club at the American University of Beirut has the same vision. Therefore, the supervisors in the club decided to present a fixed section in the name of their club through the pages of the magazine monthly. From here we had a small meeting with the president The student club, Hani Sakhnyi, on the topic presented, with an overview of the club at the university.
Sakhnyi says:
- The Photography Club is one of the most active student clubs at the American University, founded in 1959, and has an administrative body elected annually by
Its working members currently number 70 students, and the technical supervisor of the club is Dr. Khalil Abu Faisal. This club is of course restricted to university students only. The aim of its establishment is to teach the art of photography, developing, and black-and-white and color printing for those who desire this hobby.
The club carries out several activities during the academic year, the most important of which are art exhibitions and «Portrait Day», and photographing the university yearbook, Campus, and sometimes photographing the university calendar.. In addition to that, we conduct courses in the laboratory for beginners or new students.
The club has two rooms inside the university campus, a reading room containing magazines and photographic books, and another room for the laboratory.
From here, and when we felt the technical ability of the club members, we wanted to present their productions through the pages of the magazine, noting that our participation will be in the name of the club, and monthly, where the club presents a photographic topic chosen by its members.
In my opinion, this will constitute a new stage in the club's career, as publishing members' photos is considered a contribution from the club to the growth and development of photographic art in general, and our meeting with you will be within a special section and on the topic of the old and the extinct⏹
